Blum Medical Cannabis Retail Dispensary is Hiring for the Following Positions: Patient Services Associate, Managers, Budtenders & Front Desk Associates

Blum is a full service medical cannabis collective. Our retail dispensaries offer a wide selection of the finest medicinal strains, concentrates, edibles, and clones. Patient Services Associate Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the day to day operations of a retail marijuana dispensary. Duties include, but not limited to; product ordering, inventory tracking/management, financial reporting, cash handling, developing and maintaining vendor relationships, customer service, sales, regulatory compliance, patient/customer education and information management, monitoring security staff, training and managing store employees, store upkeep and general maintenance, upholding high level of professionalism.  Excellent customer service skills required; personable, outgoing, and must possess an ability to handle conflicts and situations as they arise. 

Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product inventory is accurate, stocked and updated on a daily basis
  • Ensure inventory transfers and transportation manifests are accurate and compliant with state regulations
  • Place orders with vendors/wholesalers
  • Create supply orders for store
  • Monitor product deliveries
  • Have vendor funds calculated and available for payments
  • Create invoices
  • Update patient paperwork; ensure documents are readily available
  • Ensure menus are updated daily with current inventory and pricing
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.
  • Ensure nightly sales totals are accurate and accounted for
  • Perform daily cash drops; complete accurate paperwork for Marijuana Enforcement Division
  • Familiar with POS and sales databases; create and update inventory transfers and transportation manifests
  • Upholds compliance and regulatory requirements at all times; maintains the reputation of the store
  • Ensure hours of operation are in compliance with local laws
  • Ensure product inventory is compliant with state regulations
  • Secures merchandise through implementation of security systems and measures.
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Oversees security staff
  • Manager is to be aware of employee performance and interactions with customers/patients
  • Assign workers to specific projects such as cleaning or restocking
  • Notify staff of new procedures or policies
  • Create staff schedules; cover shifts as needed
  • Educate and train staff on all current and new product

Duties and Responsibilities: Budtender

  • Strong Customer Service: Must be positive and welcoming
  • Must be well educated with all medicinal products offered
  • Strain knowledge is required, both in the effects and strain genetics
  • Must be familiar with various methods of consumptions
  • Educate members to ensure all patients are receiving the correct medication that will best help their illness and/or condition
  • Provide new members with a facility tour as well a full description of all medicine options offered
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the medicine stations and back counter
  • Interact with members on site as well as over the phone, collecting feedback on the goods and services provided by the collective
  • Package, process, roll, trim cannabis
  • Complete all tasks delegated by the supervising manager

Duties and Responsibilities: Front Desk Associate

  • Strong Customer Service skills: Must have a great, outgoing attitude, along with a hard work ethic
  • Greet all patients with a positive and warm welcome
  • Operate front desk computer, check-in patients, update patient files
  • Process paperwork for new patients, data entry
  • Provide all new patients with a brief facility tour and explanation of services
  • Interact with patients on site as well as over the phone
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the front desk and lobby area
  • Must be educated on all medical marijuana and products offered
  • Strong computer skills with office programs
  • Keep all online menus current with daily offerings

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a medical marijuana Card
  • Experience in using medical cannabis
  • Must be reliable and honest
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Flexible hours / availability, willing to cover shifts
  • We are currently looking for part-time and full-time employment

 

Background checks will be completed by the Las Vegas Metro to confirm eligibility.
